Multisportscanada supports diversity in gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation in all its forms.
As part of the event registration process, athletes have the option to choose from a variety of gender options including:
- man
- woman
- non-binary
- gender fluid
- gender non-conforming
- gender queer
- prefer not to disclose
While standard age group awards will continue for the Man and Women categories, events will present overall top 3 awards to an ‘LGBTQ’ category which includes those registrants that selected non-binary, gender fluid, gender non-conforming, gender queer, or prefer not to disclose, during the registration process. Events will expand awards for these age groups if numbers warrant.
