SUMMARY:Vancouver Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:Swim. Bike. Run.\n\nExperience Vancouver’s most iconic triathlon in the heart of Stanley Park.\nCelebrating 24 years of triathlon excellence\, the Vancouver Triathlon continues to inspire athletes of all levels to take on an unforgettable challenge surrounded by ocean views\, forested roads\, and the city’s vibrant energy. \nVIEW THE 2026 EVENT GUIDE HERE\n \n REGISTER NOW-FEW SPOTS REMAIN\n \nMonday September 7\, 2026\nDISTANCES\nStandard:  1500m Swim\, 38km Bike\, 10km Run \nSprint:  750m Swim\, 19km Bike\, 5km Run \nTri it: 300m Swim\, 9km Bike\, 2.5km Run \nRelay Teams – Standard & Sprint \n Across Western Canada\, MultiSportsCanada brings together endurance events that feel as much like community gatherings as competitions\, from triathlons on lakefront courses to half marathons\, cycling fondos\, and local running races. Athletes line up beside first-time participants\, and the atmosphere often shifts from quiet focus to shared celebration by the finish chute. That blend of stamina and spectacle has a curious parallel in the digital world\, where bright\, fast-moving entertainment is built around the same sense of anticipation. In that space\, sweet bonanza australia has become a recognizable example of how playful design and quick outcomes can hold attention without much explanation. Its candy-colored style and rapid rhythm echo the kind of energy seen at a crowded race start\, where momentum matters and each moment feels loaded with possibility. Even so\, the appeal is still rooted in the same human habit that keeps people returning to spring races and summer triathlons: the pull of an event that is simple to enter\, but never entirely predictable. \n7:00am Start\nREGISTRATION\n\n\n\nSATURDAY RACES: \n \n VANCOUVER AQUATHLON\n \n \n SWIM SECOND BEACH\n \n*Register EARLY!  Fees increase on December 1\, April 1\, August 1…or when sold out!\n\nFees DO NOT include GST or online transaction fees\nENTRIES RECIEVED ON/AFTER August 9 ARE NOT GUARANTEED TSHIRTS OR SIZING.\n\nVIEW OUR REGISTRATION\, CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY HERE\nTRI BC Membership & Day Insurance Fees\nTo participate in the Vancouver Triathlon\, all athletes must have valid race-day or annual insurance through a provincial triathlon association(Triathlon BC\, Alberta Triathlon\, Triathlon Saskatchewan\, etc.). \n✅ If You’re a Member\n\n\n\n\nEnter your valid annual membership number when registering.  Confirm your number here \n\n\nYour membership provides full race-day insurance coverage. \n\n\n\n\n🚫 If You’re Not a Member\nYou must purchase a 1-Day TriBC Membership to ensure insurance coverage for race day.Confirm your day membership here \n\n\nWe will cross-reference all membership numbers prior to event day. \nIf an invalid number is entered\, you will be required to: \n\n\nProvide proof of membership \n\n\nPay the 1-Day TriBC Membership fee prior to race day \n\n\n\n\n\nNot a member yet?Join as an Annual TriBC Member to enjoy coverage and benefits year-round. \n👉 Become an Annual Member of TriBC \n👉 Purchase a 1-Day Membership \n \nNEW FOR 2026!  \nDesigned for beginners\, this program includes a simple training plan and guidance to help you go from curious to confident on race day. \n\n \n FIND OUT MORE\n \nEVENT SCHEDULE\n  \n\nPackage Pickup\nFriday\, September 4:4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. at The Right Shoe(1601 W 4th Avenue\, Vancouver) \nSaturday\, September 5:10:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. at The Right Shoe(1601 W 4th Avenue\, Vancouver) \nSunday\, September 6:1:00 p.m.–6:00 p.m. at Stanley Park\, Second Beach \nAthletes must drop off their bikes on Sunday. It was my first triathlon\, and training for it improved my enjoyment of Vancouver’s summer. I’ve never spent so much time in Stanley park or at Second Beach. I saw so many more sunsets than I normally would. And the event was a thrill. I loved every moment of it. Thanks so much. I’ll be back next year without question- perhaps next time with a wetsuit and a road bike (upgrading from my mountain bike).\n \n John Doe\n \nStandard  = 1.5km  •  Sprint Triathlon = 750m  •  Tri it = 300m \nThe swim will be held in English Bay on the shore of Second Beach. This greatly reduces the occurrence of panic and shock in the water and will help you have a successful swim.\n\n\nIf you anticipate a longer swim time\, or are bothered by cooler temperatures\, it is suggested that you wear two swim caps (a neoprene cap under your race cap provides the best insulation\, but a silicone one will help as well).\n\n\nIf at any time during the swim you think you may require aid\, stop and raise your arm to get the attention of the swim course safety team. You may hang on to one of the support boats if you need to. You will NOT be disqualified as long as the boat doesn’t provide propulsion. The boat staff will let you know if they intend to move you off the course. \nIf you wish to stop racing at any point throughout the event\, please be sure to notify an official.
